We’re back from Gamescom, and while we’re sure Nick has assuredly missed us, we’re not quite sure he’s going to enjoy us talking about all the games he’s yet to play. Still, it’s nice to catch up, right? It’s the DayOne Show Episode 329!

As always, we start the show diving into what we’ve been playing. While Nick’s been playing the usual suspects, he’s also been checking out Metal Gear Solid Collection Vol.2, which makes for a nice change.

When it comes to Jon, Jesse and Aarsal, well – in truth, we have far too many previews and reviews to reasonably feature in detail here, but as the crew are back from Gamescom, we sure do talk about a few of them! First up, the reviews from the last week or so – Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Orbitals, Blood Dungeon, Speedrunners 2: King of Speed, Crimson Moon and most recently Halloween: The Game. Phew!

Previews!

On the preview front, we’ve got plenty out already, and more on the way – but for now, you can tuck into these beauties – Gears of War: E-Day Campaign, Metro 2039, Fable, Tides of Annihilation, State of Decay 3, Crusader Kings 3: By God Alone & Silk and Silver, Alien Deathstorm, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, N+∞X2, Anno 117: Pax Romana – Dawn of the Delta and last but not least, Exodus! Not bad, right?

And the News!

In news, we’ve chat about Asha Sharma’s BBC interview and the Xbox Helix ‘Family of devices’ and have a little chat about just what that could mean, exactly. Team Green have also announced a limit to cloud streaming hours per month, which has generated a fair bit of discussion alongside their disc-to-digital program, which is now live for Xbox insiders. We also chat about the big Netflix GTA6 reveal, the recent teases for Starcraft with Blizzcon looming. Sony’s recent State of Play Double bill and plenty more.
