Saying Goodbye to Big Ambitions

A while ago, I wrote that I would want to focus on Big Ambitions until Planet Zoo 2 arrives – the game that I got gifted for my birthday at the beginning of September. I actually managed to stick to that for the most part. Only in the past week or so did I switch to Crusader Kings 3, as the DLC “By God Alone” released and I felt the CK3 itch again.

So, a little more than one month of playing Big Ambitions gave me… enough money to take taxis from time to time. Although I really like using the scooter. It is faster than cars, actually. I own several stores now. I can import goods like books, so I also have a bookstore. My employees call in sick from time to time, but I hired somebody to take care of the shifts. A lof of the time, I spend the day eating, bathing, reading a book, playing games, and going to bed. I guess I could and should focus on expansion, getting more shops under my belt. Everything earns me money, after all.

The game also features rivals. I don’t know if they can do anything or what (sabotaging, maybe… that would be fun, at least).

What will happen to my little empire once Planet Zoo 2 releases, though? And with CK3 giving me new things to play with? I am not sure. I like the game per se. But I am still not a fan of these clean, cold graphics. It makes the world look rather bland. And even though there are items you can place for decoration purposes only, there are no variations and it still makes it look rather boring. I wish there was a bigger focus on decorating. But I can hire a company to do so. So, I guess in the end, the goal is to be able to hire somebody for everything. Back to taking long baths and playing games…

Which is exactly what I will be doing in real life now when Planet Zoo 2 is finally releasing!
