It’s a farming sim where you farm by day and fight by night. And by you, I mean your entire village. Yes, that’s Outcity, a cosy sandbox farm simulator from Brazilian developer Titan Games. And the game is launching on PC on December 10th, 2026.

You start out with a patch of overgrown countryside and a handful of tools. Outcity lets you hand tools over to villagers and have them take care of farming, gathering resources, construction, and even defending your settlement.

Outcity has multiple biomes

You’ll find lush meadows, arid hillsides, and fertile lowlands, each with their own crops and resources. Unlock new regions as your settlement grows, and there’s also soil experimentation, irrigation systems, and different planting strategies.

Beneath all the peaceful farmland sits a network of procedurally generated caves that keep going, with deeper areas offering better rewards. You can dig around for rare minerals, ancient artefacts, legendary seeds, and powerful tools. Meanwhile, the lakes are there for spending a quiet afternoon fishing for rare catches.

Outcity has more than 140 upgrades covering farming, fishing, construction, automation, exploration, and combat. There’s also a complete cooking system with seven different cooking stations, each featuring its own minigame.

But what happens at night that forces you to fight?

The peaceful countryside living comes with one tiny complication. Skeletons. When night falls, these mischievous little blighters start wandering around the valley. Sometimes, they appear in hidden corners and other secluded places.

Other times, they turn up near your farm to attack crops, fences, and anything else left unprotected. You can craft tools and fight the pesky bones yourself. Or equip your villagers and let them handle the raids, and simply stay indoors until morning.

Outcity launches on Steam on December 10th, just in time for the holidays. You can wishlist it now and give the free demo a try.
