Melon Sandbox is teaming up with Poppy Playtime for a Halloween crossover, bringing some of the horror game’s most recognisable characters into its physics-based sandbox. Starting October 23 and running until November 2, 2026, the event lets you unleash Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, CatNap, and other creepy toys in a themed board game event.
Familiar faces from Poppy Playtime make your Melon Sandbox experience spooky
The collaboration is being developed by mobile publisher PlayDucky and Poppy Playtime creator Mob Entertainment. It brings the horror franchise into Melon Sandbox, where you can experiment with characters, objects, and physics to create your own chaotic scenarios.
The crossover features several familiar faces from Poppy Playtime, including Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs, The Prototype, Boxy Boo, and CatNap. You can take part in a limited-time board game event featuring these characters and earn exclusive in-game rewards.
The event runs through Halloween, giving you a chance to try the crossover content before it ends on November 2. The developers have not shared the full list of rewards yet, so stay tuned for updates.
Melon Sandbox is known for its physics-based gameplay, letting you experiment with different objects, vehicles, and characters to create your own scenes. Meanwhile, Poppy Playtime is a survival horror game series by Mob Entertainment, set in an abandoned toy factory filled with puzzles and terrifying characters.
The franchise has attracted over 38 million players worldwide. With Poppy Playtime’s creepy toys joining the game, you can bring the horror characters into your sandbox experiments and see what happens.
Melon Sandbox founder Ivan Fedyanin expressed his excitement over the collab and shared: “Our players love experimenting, building, and creating their own stories, and giving them the chance to do that with such iconic characters opens up a whole new world of possibilities. We can’t wait to see the creativity our community brings to this collaboration.”
Melon Sandbox is free to play on iOS, Android, and browsers. You can join the Halloween crossover from October 23 to November 2, 2026. You can also visit the game’s official Discord to share clips, creations, and modded content with the community.
