Pearl is a 5-Star Ice character of The Elation path likely coming to Honkai Star Rail in version 4.6.

While Pearl will likely be featured as the boosted 5-Star character on her Banner in version 4.6, she will eventually return to Honkai Star Rail at some point in the future when the Banner schedule cycles back to her.

Pearl's kit

Pearl is a 5-Star Ice character of The Elation path, and keeping in mind that this is leaked beta information from honeyhunterworld that could change upon her official release, and that all of the percentages mentioned below are based on Max Level Traces, here's a summary of Pearl's kit in Honkai Star Rail:

Pearl Element and Path

• Element: Ice.
• Path: The Elation.
• Rarity: 5-Star.

Pearl Basic Attack

Brushstroke: Trace the Severed Stream: Deals Ice Damage equal to 126% of Pearl's DEF to one designated enemy.

Brushstroke: Imagenate the Starry Night: Deals Ice Damage equal to 140% of Pearl's DEF to all enemies, restores HP for all allies equal to 11.2% of Pearl's DEF plus 224, and additionally restores HP for the ally target with the lowest HP percentage equal to 11.2% of Pearl's DEF plus 224. While in possession of 'Certified Banger', additionally deals Ice Elation Damage equal to 20% of Pearls' DEF to the attacked enemy targets.

Brushstroke: Render the Great Wave: Deals Ice Damage equal to 140% of Pearl's DEF to all enemies. Restores HP for all allies equal to 11.2% of Pearl's DEF plus 224, and additionally restores HP for the ally target with the lowest HP percentage equal to 11.2% of Pearl's DEF plus 224.

Pearl Skill (Defense)

Relume Life's Light: Gain 15 points of 'Certified Banger', restores HP for all allies equal to 15% of Pearl's DEF plus 300, and additionally restores HP for the ally target with the lowest current HP percentage equal to 15% of Pearl's DEF plus 300.

Pearl Technique (Support)

Recast Masterwork in Nacre: After using Technique, gains 'Aesthetic Archetype'. When switching active characters, 'Aesthetic Archetype' transfers to the active character. At the start of the next battle, gains 20 'Certified Banger', and Pearl applies 'Deep Learning' to the character with the 'Aesthetic Archetype'. 'Deep Learning' has two charges. Pearl can only apply 'Deep Learning' to characters other than herself.

Pearl Talent (Defense)

Grow Grace from Grit: Pearl can use 'Certified Banger' as Repellency. Each point of 'Certified Banger' is equal to 200 points of Repellency. When an ally target takes damage, Pearl can consume Repellency to block 60% of the damage for the ally target. Pearl's 'Certified Banger' lasts indefinitely and has a max limit of 50. When an ally target's current HP percentage is 50% or lower, the damage taken is reduced by 37.5%.

Pearl Ultimate

Appraise Soul's Ground: Gains 20 points of 'Certified Banger'. Uses 'Deep Learning' on one designate ally other than this unit, making the target the 'Aesthetic Archetupe'. When there are 1/2/3 or more Elation characters on the team, advance the 'Aesthetic Archetype's' action by 10%/15%/30%. When there are 4 or more Elation characters on the team, the 'Aesthetic Archetype' gains one extra turn. At the start of this extra turn, the 'Aesthetic Archetype' gains 30 points of 'Certified Banger' and 60 points of Punchline, which are removed at the end of the extra turn.
While in 'Deep Learning', Basic Attack 'Brushstroke: Trace the Severed Stream' is enhanced to 'Brushstroke: Render the Great Wave'. If the 'Aesthetic Archetype' is on the Path of Elation, it is instead enhanced to 'Brushstroke: Imagenate the Starry Night.' While dealing damage, additionally deals 75% Ice Elation Damage. This Elation Damage is calculated using the 'Aesthetic Archetype's' stats. 'Deep Learning' has three points of Charge. After Pearl uses an Enhanced Basic Attack, one point of Charge is consumed. If no Charges remain after taking action, 'Deep Learning' ends.

Pearl Bonus Traces

• Bonus Trace 1: Panoptic Vision - When DEF is 2400 or higher, increases this unit's Elation by 32%. For every 100 DEF exceeded, increases this unit's Elation by 3%. Up to a max of 3600 excess DEF can be taken into account for this effect.
• Bonus Trace 2: Sensory Latitude - When an ally target's turn begins, Pearl gains 5 point(s) of 'Certified Banger', up to a max of 50 points of 'Certified Banger'. The obtainable amount of 'Certified Banger' resets at the start of Pearl's turn. When using Enhanced Basic Attack or Skill, dispels 1 debuffs from all allies.
• Bonus Trace 3: Aesthetic Firewall - After entering combat and using Ultimate, if the 'Aesthetic Archetype' is an Elation character, their next Ultimate use regenerates a fixed 90 Energy for Pearl. This effect cannot stack.

Pearl Ascension materials

You need to use Pearl Ascension materials to upgrade stats like her health, attack, defence, and critical hit effectiveness.

With the latest beta information sourced from honeyhunterworld, it looks like you need to get a lot of Sea Siren's Torn Fin and Whimsy Wax-based materials for Pearl to fully upgrade her capabilities.

Just like Ascension, to get the most out of using Pearl you will have to level-up her attacks and passive abilities by using Trace materials, which vary from character-to-character.

Pearl Eidolons

By getting duplicates of Pearl from pulling on her Banner, you will receive her Eidolon. This material allows you to unlock Eidolon levels, with each upgrade either improving an existing attack or passive ability.

With beta information sourced from honeyhunterworld, here are all of Pearl's Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail:

Pearl Eidolons

• Nestle That Pearl in Uninked Tides (E1): When there are 2/3/4 or more Elation characters in the team, increases all allies' Elation stat by an amount equal to 10%/20%/80% of Pearl's Elation, up to a max increase of 60% Elation.
• Crop That Dappled Dawn (E2): Merrymakes all ally targets' Elation DMG by 15%. When using Ultimate, causes other ally Elation characters (excluding Pearl and the 'Aesthetic Archetype') to also trigger the action advance effect, and increases the 'Certified Banger' and Punchline gained at the start of the extra turn provided by the Ultimate by 100%.
• Sketch That Suspended Wave (E3): Increases the level of Pearl's Basic Attack by one with a maximum upgrade level of 10. Increases the level of Pearl's Elation Skill by one with a maximum upgrade level of 15. Also increases the level of her Ultimate by two, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
• Study That Veiled Smile (E4): In the Talent 'Grow Grace from Grit,' Repellency provided by each point of 'Certified Banger' increases by 40, and the percentage of DMG it can block increases by 5%.
• Render Those Starlit Swirls (E5): Increases the level of Pearl's Skill and Talent by two, with a maximum upgrade level of 15. Also increases the level of Pearl's Elation Skill by one, with a maximum upgrade level of 15.
• Compute Life From One Shell (E6): While in 'Deep Learning,' all allies' All-Type RES PEN increases by 20%. Pearl's Enhanced Basic Attack additionally deals Ice Elation DMG equal to 240% of the stats of the 'Aesthetic Archetype'.
