Curve Games and Coyote House Games have announced that their chaotic co-op sandbox game Dumpster Gang is in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
Whether partaking in shenanigans in single-player or co-op for up to four players, you are invited to live out your most mischievous raccoon dreams. That will simply task you with causing havoc as you scavenge dumpsters, steal junk, hoard snacks, and stick your furry little nose in places furry little noses should not be.
You will need to watch out for the evil Exterminator, who is determined to catch you and spoil your (mostly) harmless fun. To evade them, you can climb walls, scurry through vents and scout out hard-to-reach places, as you hunt for the best loot to steal, eat, or both.
When you’re tired out from your misadventures, you can return to your hideout, which you can use your hard-earned treasure to customise. There are also adorable (and functional) hats to wear that each have unique abilities to help your next round of raccoon revelry.
“Bringing Dumpster Gang to consoles is a huge milestone for us,” explains Coyote House Games co-founder Samuel Malone. “We’ve had so much fun building this game, and we’re excited to make it available to even more players!”
Curve Games vice president of publishing Rich Keen adds: “Well, the raccoons are out of the bag – we’re coming to consoles next year! We’re grateful to our friends at Nintendo for featuring Dumpster Gang in the Indie World Showcase. We also can’t wait to welcome players on Steam, XBOX on PC, and PC Game Pass this year on December 3rd.”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Become the Ultimate Trash Panda: Scavenge dumpsters, steal junk, raid snacks, commit tiny crimes, and unleash your inner menace
- Chaotic Co-op for 1-4 Players: Work together to carry heavy loot, solve puzzles, and rescue captured teammates
- Escape the Exterminator: Cause enough chaos and the Exterminator will hunt you down. Outsmart his traps, escape capture, and rescue your friends before your gang ends up behind bars.
- Build Your Hideout: Return home after every mission to customise your raccoon, unlock hats with unique abilities, and decorate your hideout with every ridiculous item you’ve stolen.
- Easy to Learn, Hard to Predict: Simple controls make Dumpster Gang easy to pick up, while dynamic sandbox systems create ridiculous chain reactions, unpredictable moments, and new stories every time you play.
Dumpster Gang will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide in March 2027.
