The company Everplay Group (formerly Team17 Group) is very pleased with the launch of the military sandbox Wardogs. So much so that it decided to increase its shareholding in Super Media Group — the nominal owner of the Bulkhead studio, founded a year ago by Bulkhead’s own leaders.

In a recent financial report, Everplay Group announced that it now owns 28% of Super Media Group.

Let us recall, this is the second time Everplay Group has purchased a stake in Super Media Group. The last acquisition was made in December 2025, when the company acquired a 20% share and at the same time arranged for an option — it was this option that gave them the right to purchase more of Super Media Group, which Everplay Group has now exercised.

An interesting point: last year, Everplay Group paid 2 million pounds sterling (2.68 million dollars) for 20% of Super Media Group’s shares. The acquisition of an additional 8% shares has cost them the exact same amount.

According to Everplay Group, the deal with Super Media Group has been a “very attractive investment” for them. However, whether they plan to purchase more shares of the company in the future has not been clarified.

Everplay Group also boasted that the initial sales of Wardogs significantly exceeded their expectations. They noted that on the very day of its early access release, the number of copies sold surpassed 1.25 million, and to date it has reached the 2 million mark.
